Signs of optimism in latest ATB Business Beat survey

Lucas Meyer Most small and mid-sized businesses don’t think the provincial economy has hit rock bottom yet.In the latest ATB Business Beat survey, 75 per cent say they think the economy will be worse off six months from now, but they are also optimistic about their own businesses, with 64 per cent feeling they will be the same or better six months from now.ATB Executive Vice President Wellington Holbrook told 660 NEWS why he thinks that’s the case.”There’s kind of a bit of a disconnect there I think, but certainly I think that might be a little bit of a reflection of the Albertan entrepreneurial spirit.
