Sunday afternoon, ESPN announced that OSU and ND, the No. 7 and No. 8 ranked teams in the country, will play in the Fiesta Bowl on New Year’s Day. The Big Ten’s Rose Bowl bid went to Iowa – the nation’s fifth-ranked team – instead of Ohio State.Regardless, it should be a fantastic contest between two historic programs. In fact, it may be the most intriguing matchup outside the playoff. The Buckeyes and the Fighting Irish are headed to the @BattleFrogUS #FiestaBowl! @OhioStAthletics @NDFootball pic.twitter.com/PYsPIHzbjM— Fiesta Bowl (@Fiesta_Bowl) December 6, 2015You can see the entire College Football Playoff rankings here.last_img
